Ms. Daisy Gallagher is the CEO and Founder of Gallagher & Gallagher, Inc. and has more than 25 years experience in business and marketing communications and green conference and event project management. In 2010,Gallagher & Gallagher, Inc. will celebrate its 20th year in business. For 15 of those 20 years, Ms. Gallagher has been the lead on government initiatives for her company. Since 1999 her company has been a GSA industry partner. She has worked for (and currently works with) numerous agencies on initiatives, including the United States Department of Defense, Army, SOCOM, Navy, Air Force, Veterans Administration and the White House, the General Services Administration, Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms, Postal Inspection Services, Department Of Energy, and others.Gallagher & Gallagher, Inc. is the lead organizer of the “World Green Energy Symposium” and other national and global Congress. Ms. Gallagher presently works on public outreach and public education initiatives, “green” conference (training) logistics management, and recruitment branding campaigns. Ms. Gallagher was honored as a Paul Harris Fellow and Rotarian of the Year. Ms. Gallagher is a Speaker and the author of the “Government Contractor’s Resource Guide” which has been used as a tool by both small business and government alike, making the pages of FORBES and Businessweek. Ms. Gallagher served on and is a charter member of GSA Industry Government Council Steering Committee and also served as a committee member of the GSA Industry Government Council. She was unanimously appointed to serve on the Federal SmallBusiness Advisory Committee. On numerous occasions she has been invited to speak as Keynote and Panelist by private sector and non-profitorganizations such as the DC Chamber, WIPP (Women Impacting Public Policy), EAWC (European American Women’s Council), PRSA (Public Relations Society of America) IACC (Indian American Chamber of Commerce) among them, public sector agencies such as, DOD, DOE, GSA, and SBA among others. Ms. Gallagher has spoken at GSA expo on BPA and Best Practices (Orlando/San Diego) and received recognition from GSA Business Office at the GSA Expo for the Recruitment Branding Initiative led by her firm for USPIS Campaign which saved tens of thousands of dollars for the customer agency after Gallagher conducted the branding workshops, comprised the communications audit, developed the approach and all of the deliverables for re-branding initiative which successfully accomplished the mission of ROI in new qualified hires. She has been a Keynote subject matter expert lecturer on branding internationally at the foreign ministry in Athens Greece with leadership from many nations,including the US in the audience, televised in several countries in Europe. She has used her advanced project management skills and education aslead executive manager successfully overseeing international and national event logistics management for customers.
Ms. Gallagher has led or served as a member of delegations representing the National HUBZone Council, NSBA, and local and regionalChambers of Commerce, meeting with Congressional leaders and Cabinet officials to discuss important legislative issues affecting smallbusiness, and upholding legislation protecting HUBZone businesses and as a member of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) and Women in Public Policy (WIPP) where she served on their Executive Board. She plays a leading role in forging industrygovernment partnerships. She currently serves as the Chairman of the GP Chamber of Commerce, serves on the DC Chamber’s economic committee, served as Corporate Leader on PCMA Think Tank, and is a member of the National Government Communicators.
